Andaman Islands
03 Nights / 04 Days
Best time: mid October to March

Day 01:
Arrive at Port Blair airport- your entry to the emerald islands where a warm traditional welcome awaits you by our representative. Head straight to the hotel to freshen up and relax after the flight. We head out after lunch for our first stop-The Cellular Jail also known as 'kala pani'. A walk through history books is what best describes the jail. Completed in 1906 with 698 cells, it was built with seven wings spreading out like a seven-petal flower. There are numerous incidents and events associated with India's freedom struggle that will take you back in time as you take a tour of the jail. Settle down then for an hour long stunning Light and Sound show at the Cellular jail - where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Retire to the hotel for the night.

Day 02:
After breakfast we head to Ross Island- the capital of Andaman during the British Period. Our guide will take you on a guided tour of this small island with its treasure of ruins and history. We then proceed to North Bay Coral Island to explore marine corals. A paradise for any sea lover, the underwater marine life will blow you away as you watch through the glass bottom boat or opt for snorkelling for an up close and personal encounter of the sea. After an experience to last a lifetime we head for lunch and thereafter to Corbyn's Cove beach. Just 7 km away from the city lies this picturesque beach called Corbyn's Cove. Ideal for sea-bathing and sun-basking and a great place to watch the sun as it disappears into the horizon. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03:
After breakfast we take a tour of Port Blair city which covers the Anthropological museum showcasing the tribes of Andaman, then to the Fisheries museum and then the Chatham Saw mill. Chatham Saw mill is considered to be the oldest saw mill in Asia. After a day in the city we take an evening harbour cruise that takes us to Viper Island - a small serene, beautiful island. This island was famous for housing convicts and freedom fighters long before the Cellular Jail was built. Spend the rest of the evening shopping at the local market nearby or relaxing at the hotel.

Day 04:
Drop to Port Blair airport for return flight to Chennai or Kolkata.
