Overview
Keoladeo National Park, formerly known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, is a renowned wildlife sanctuary and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Rajasthan, India. This park is celebrated for its rich avian population and is one of the world's most significant bird sanctuaries. Home to over 370 bird species, it attracts both resident and migratory birds. The trip begins with an early morning pick-up from Delhi at 6:00 AM from the pick-up point and proceed for a 5-hour drive to Bharatpur, covering a distance of 201 km. Expect to arrive by 11:00 AM, with time to settle in before immersing yourself in the rich avian landscape of Keoladeo National Park. Spend the afternoon birdwatching with your guide, choosing between a bicycle ride or a relaxing e-rickshaw journey for a comfortable and enjoyable exploration.
After a lunch break, as temperatures cool and afternoon breezes begin, bird activity intensifies, making it the perfect time to observe the park’s thriving birdlife. The late afternoon offers prime opportunities to spot waterbirds, including egrets, cormorants, and ibises, congregating around the water’s edge. The raised water levels often draw reptiles, such as Indian Rock Pythons and basking turtles, adding to the diversity of sightings. As dusk settles, mammals like Sambar Deer and Wild Boar emerge, taking advantage of the cooler air.
End the day with a hearty dinner and relax with an overnight stay, reflecting on the rich wildlife encounters of the day.

After this rich wildlife experience, return to your accommodation to check out by 12:00 PM. Begin your drive back to Delhi, with an expected arrival around 5:00 PM, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
