Overview
The Melghat Tiger Reserve and Natural History Tour, Melghat Tiger Reserve is a wildlife sanctuary and tiger reserve located in the Amravati district of the state of Maharashtra, India. It covers an area of approximately 1,676 square kilometers and is home to a variety of flora and fauna.
The tiger reserve is known for its population of Bengal tigers, which are the main attraction for visitors. Apart from tigers, the reserve is also home to Indian leopards, Indian bison, sloth bears, Indian giant squirrels, and a variety of birds and reptiles.
Melghat Tiger Reserve is also known for its beautiful landscapes, with deep valleys, steep slopes, and high hills. The reserve is dotted with several water bodies, including the Tapti River, which provides a habitat for a variety of aquatic wildlife.
The best time to visit Melghat Tiger Reserve is between October and June when the weather is pleasant and the wildlife is more active. Visitors can enjoy wildlife safaris, nature walks, and bird watching, as well as interact with the local tribal communities that reside in the area.
The forest department has set up several ecotourism facilities in the reserve, including jungle lodges, camping sites, and watchtowers, which offer visitors the opportunity to observe wildlife in their natural habitat.

Arrive at Nagpur airport, our representative will receive you. We will drive to Melghat Tiger Reserve (260 Km / 6 hrs). Check-In at the hotel in the evening, and have your dinner.

Today, you will get a packed breakfast and go on to the morning safari. After the safari, return to the hotel and have your lunch, take some rest. After lunch, we will be headed for the evening safari.
